anyone know if the screen 'brilliant' (OptiClear) LCD monitors strained eyes?

im looking at buy a new monitor and I'm in the market for offering one of the functions of 'OptiClear' technology. This function clears fundamentally and sharpens the outline view and can be identified by its bright screen versus the matte surface standard traditional LCD. I usually do not health care associated with the hardware, but IM concerned if the screen brighter of these monitors can potentially cause stress to eyes after long periods of use. I currently have a CRT monitor that I had to adjust the brightness as it gets strain the eyes after a while. I can not believe my eyes to be very sensitive to glare screen, but maybe they are. Anyway, I wonder if someone can give me their two cents on this topic, especially those who display this style. for Remember that I am interested in the NEC Multisync 70GX2 (or perhaps the 90GX2).

All monitors can lead to fatigue your eyes but if you read eddition March Computern / tech comparrision they show a standard CRT monitors ..
