Especially if you use S-video as your connection, because S-video has a maximum resolution of the order of 576i or PAL standard resolution. However, if you insist on learning outside of yourself, you need to search within the parameters of the map video and make sure that the S-video is selected. On some cards you may have to exit one mode or another. So, if you select the S-video, your monitor will not receive any input. This will probably change your desktop resolution and screw up internships Icon and several other things. If you want to do something a home theater setup, do not use a computer with s-video to do. Spending money to get some set top box or a computer designed to be a home theater system. If you want to use as a monitor, do not even bother with the s-video, your only option.
