Question: I need cd-rom for my computer to help my students?
Question: I need cd-rom for my computer to help my students Question Details: I am a teacher and I am looking for some resource materials to assist in learning ability for my students. As a child I remember playing games at school such as Oregon Trail and Wheel of Fortune for help in history or spelling. The problem is that I teach math and I am not aware of any games like that I could put on the computers in my classroom to differentiate education. If you know any websites or cd-rom for Windows I could buy I'd be very happy. What I'm looking for are games that are good tools learning, but are fun for students as well.
I'm not sure what age you are a teacher or if it is spec. ed. but here are some sites that might be useful. In addition, as the funding you could check something like Plato and looking at their mathematics modules. It is located at: http://www.aplusmath.com/Games http://www.plato.com http://www.math.com/students/puzzles/puzzleapps.html The latter Lemonade Stand is pretty good . http://www.hotmath.com/games.html http://www.mathplayground.com/games.html Hope this helps some.
