Whats the best laptop? ASUS W90Vp-X1 vs ASUS G71G-Q2?
I am looking for a well built laptop that performs. I'll run multiple CAD programs and using it for casual gaming (graphics card / s is not that important as long as 512 +). I know both meet my needs for the same price at Newegg.com. But it is Core 2 Duo and the other Core 2 Quad. What is the best buy and will be for use future (2-3years)? The W90 has 512 MB card Dual video and G71 has a 512
be honest, I do not see why you need 2 video cards for CAD applications … w would be sufficient abundance / 512 MB of cache. So why a quad? Most high-end games do not even enjoy quad cores So do not waste your money … The DAC is a demanding program, but certainly not demanding. The dual will serve you well. Furthermore, I would say that RAM is the most important thing for you. Make sure the model has capacity for expandable memory … For example, currently has 4 GB but it is expandable to 8. This will be the number 1 importance in the future to run multiple applications.
